So, what’s different about the TV show and the book?
Right from the start, I noticed many differences between the show and the book. The show kind of changes with the characters and story, which is cool but can also be annoying.
Some viewers love how new it is, but others think, ‘Where’s the traditional content?’ Like, for example, Dracula on the show is totally different. They make it appear more fragile and intricate.
How do they change the classic characters in the TV show?
It’s really interesting how they change the traditional characters like Van Helsing, Dracula, and Mina. They introduce some new elements to the characters, making them seem more human-like.
Like, Van Helsing is considerably more likable, and Dracula becoming a vampire? It is more intense and terrifying. It helps make it to get to know the characters better.
Which episodes stick out in your mind from the show?
There are a few episodes that I really recall. The first one is the introductory episode; it sets the entire show in motion.
Another awesome episode is the one where Dracula reveals his true nature; it’s a significant moment for him. The show does a good job mixing in stuff from the novel, like that ‘Three Pounds of Blood’ scene.
How does the show deal with all the spooky stuff?
The show manages the eerie stuff with a well-blended combination of horror and drama. The visual effects and the dim, eerie ambiance make it more thrilling.
The show also throws together some cool twists to the vampire stuff, keeping us guessing. It’s an appealing change from all other vampire series that are extremely fantastical.
Is there one scene or episode you think everyone should see?
That moment in which Jonathan protagonhast meets Count Count for the initial encounter? You guys have to see that. That’s very spooky and establhashes the whole storyline. The segment of ‘Journey of Count Count’ has also a can’t mhass; that provides us more information about Count Count’s thoughts.
